Chocolate Interiors, founded by Christine Coulton in 2006, is a Sydney-based decorating/ design/ styling and property renovation business.

 

Christine started in real estate but her passion for styling and creating beautiful interiors eventually overtook her real estate career. “It started through helping our landlords and vendors with a bit of makeover and styling advice. When they achieved higher rentals and sales results, I realised it was something I had a flair for”, says Christine.

 

Completing her studies at the International School of Colour and Design in Certificate IV Design, she also has a Diploma in Creative Visual Arts: Interior Styling, a Diploma in Creative Visual Arts: Colour Design and holds a current real estate license.

 

Christine is currently working on projects on the North Shore of Sydney and the Northern Beaches. Her recent major renovation of a house in St Ives achieved an excellent price at auction and was featured in the Australian Financial Review newspaper as a result.

There’s an art and science to understanding how to improve a property's appeal for sale. Inspired by her love of nature, colour, texture and the combination of pre-loved and personal pieces with the new, Christine creates a harmonious space for her clients reflecting their own personality and style.

One of the keys to her success has been her ability to take an idea from the drawing board to the end project and she’s cleverly aligned herself with quality suppliers and tradespeople.

 

Chocolate Interiors enjoys working on a wide range of projects from one-off colour consultations to collaborating with your architect/ builder to produce a comprehensive scheme for exterior and interior finishes and colours.

 

“I’m so lucky that I love what I do”, says Christine. “It translates into the interiors and finishes I work on and the people I work with”, she explains.
